Despite the fun premise of a skip tracer and bail-jumper bonding over a kidnapping caper, the critics have spoken loud and clear—this '89 Eastwood vehicle just doesn't deliver. With a 24% RT and sub-5.5 IMDb, there's plenty of better ways to spend your evening.

Plot

A skip tracer helps out a bail-jumper after her child is kidnapped by a group of ethno-nationalist thugs, of which her husband is a member, going by the name of Birthright. The baby is taken as leverage because, although initially oblivious, she has their money!
