Skip it. This prequel trades the psychological dread of King's original concept for a generic origin story that explains away the mystery—and likely misses what made Pet Sematary genuinely unsettling in the first place. Unless you're a completist who needs every Stephen King adaptation, your horror night has better options.

Plot
