Skip it. 'People I Know' is a forgettable mid-2000s thriller that wastes a decent premise about Manhattan's cutthroat PR world—Al Pacino sleepwalks through the lead role, and the scandal-of-the-week plot never builds real tension or intrigue. You've seen this corporate crisis story done better elsewhere.
