Skip it. 'Pentimento' sounds like a self-serious indie drama about creative ennui in the Hamptons—a premise that's been done to death and doesn't justify a night on your couch. Without critical support or buzz to back up this thin plot, you're better off watching something with actual stakes.

Plot

On an errand to the Hamptons, an artist’s assistant makes an embarrassing mistake that pressures him to face his creative stagnation.
