Parallel

2018 · 1h 44m · Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror

Skip it—this mirrors a dozen other multiverse thrillers that mistake a high-concept premise for actual storytelling. Without critical validation and a plot that sounds more derivative than daring, you're better off rewatching a sci-fi horror that actually nails the execution.

Plot

A group of friends stumble upon a mirror that serves as a portal to a "multiverse", but soon discover that importing knowledge from the other side in order to better their lives brings increasingly dangerous consequences.

Director: Isaac Ezban

Cast: Mark O'Brien, Martin Wallström, Georgia King, Alyssa Diaz, Aml Ameen
