Skip it. 'Palitan 2' sounds like a by-the-numbers forbidden romance drama that relies on small-town scandal clichés without any hook to make it feel fresh or essential. Without critical validation and nothing in the premise suggesting it breaks new ground, there are better ways to spend your evening.

As a wedding and fiesta draw near, two former lovers surrender to a forbidden passion that threatens relationships and defies a town built on judgment.
