Skip it tonight unless you're a serious WWII history buff. This French TV movie about the tragic Oradour-sur-Glane massacre leans heavily on earnest melodrama—reuniting lost lovers against the backdrop of historical horror—which tends to feel overwrought rather than moving. If you want to engage with this dark chapter of history, a documentary would hit harder.
