Skip it tonight unless you're a devoted thriller completist—this 1997 Nightwatch is a convoluted, poorly paced mess that wastes a solid premise (law student, morgue, murder suspect) on clunky execution and uneven horror-thriller tone shifts. You'd be better off hunting down a tighter psychological thriller that actually knows what it wants to be.

A law student takes a job as a night watchman at a morgue and begins to discover clues that implicate him as the suspect in a series of murders.
