If you're craving '80s action-comedy chaos with Jackie Chan–adjacent energy and ninja fights in Tokyo, this ragtag crime caper has enough charm to justify a watch. But at 6.3, it's uneven enough that you should only commit if you're specifically in the mood for cult Hong Kong action, not looking for a tight, consistently entertaining movie tonight.

Plot

Two Hong Kong cops are sent to Tokyo to catch an ex-cop who stole a large amount of money in diamonds. After one is captured by the Ninja-gang protecting the rogue cop, the other one gets his old Orphanage gang, dubbed the "Five Lucky Stars," to help him. They don't like this much, but they do it.
