Skip it unless you've got kids who are die-hard MLP fans—this is pure franchise material that exists to sell toys and extend the TV series, not to break new ground. The friendship-saves-the-day plot is predictable, and without critical validation or a strong reputation beyond the existing fanbase, there are better animated adventures worth your time tonight.

Plot
