Skip it. 'Mr. Pig' has the bones of a heartfelt indie drama—a road trip to Mexico with a pig, family reconciliation, aging farmer themes—but it never found an audience or critical foothold for good reason. Without any cultural momentum or strong performances to carry it, this well-intentioned snoozefest isn't worth your limited streaming time tonight.

Plot

On a mission to sell his last remaining prize hog and reunite with old friends, an aging farmer abandons his foreclosed farm and journeys to Mexico. After smuggling in the hog, his estranged daughter shows up, forcing them to face their past and embark on an adventurous road trip together.
