Month of the Witches

Skip it. This sounds like a well-intentioned indie curiosity with a genuinely interesting premise—two actors on a redemptive road trip through Latvia's occult underbelly—but without any critical validation or buzz to back it up, you're essentially gambling on an obscure foreign film that blends heavy subject matter (alcoholism recovery) with quirky comedy in a way that could easily fall flat. Unless you're specifically hunting for obscure Eastern European cinema, your time is better spent elsewhere.
Plot
Two Latvian actors travel the country and visit different witches and healers to find purpose to their lives after years of alcoholism, which has had a great impact on their personal health. On the way they run into trouble, adventure and many comic, as well as tragic, situations.
