Skip this one—the premise of a matchmaker caught between perfect and imperfect love is well-trodden rom-com territory, and without critical backing or buzz, there's no reason to believe 'Materialists' brings anything fresh to the formula. You've seen this triangle before, and you'll probably enjoy it more in a film that actually earned its hype.
