Skip it. 'Mahjong Nights' sounds like it's trying to be a prestige drama but lands as melodramatic — family secrets exploding over a card game is a tired setup, and the incest subplot feels exploitative rather than insightful. Without a notable cast or director to elevate the material, this feels like overwrought TV movie territory.
