Skip it. This 2007 Eric Bana/Drew Barrymore poker romance is a forgettable mashup of two incompatible plots that never quite lands the emotional or romantic payoff you're hoping for—it's the kind of film that feels like it's trying too hard to be both a sports drama and a love story, and ends up being neither.

Plot

A professional poker player whose astounding luck at the table fails to translate into his lonesome love life attempts to win the World Series of Poker while simultaneously earning the affections of a beautiful Las Vegas singer.
