Liverleaf

2018 · 1h 54m · Horror, Thriller, Drama

Skip it. 'Liverleaf' sounds like a heavy-handed bullying tragedy with a premise that promises more exploitation than insight—the 'no one will help' angle screams manipulation over meaningful drama. Without critical validation or strong word-of-mouth backing this one up, there are better ways to spend your evening.

The story follows Nozaki Haruka, a middle school student who transfers to a new school in a small town because of her father's work. Unfortunately, she becomes a victim of horrific bullying, but since the school will be closing in 2 months after graduation, no one is willing to help her.
