If you're a die-hard martial arts action fan who lives for tournament fights and don't mind B-movie production values, 'Lion Fist' delivers the gritty underdog premise you crave—but this one's got a generic plot that's been recycled a hundred times and zero buzz to suggest it does anything special with it. Skip it unless you're specifically hunting for obscure martial arts flicks.

Plot

Martial arts fighter Joe goes to prison for four years and takes his wife's blame for a drug bust. After his release, he learns that his son needs expensive surgery because of a life-threatening tumor. Joe's only chance to save him: a brutal all-styles tournament with a $100,000 prize.
