Skip it. 'Line of Duty' is a paint-by-numbers thriller that can't decide if it wants to be a serious crime drama or a gimmicky live-stream spectacle, and the critics' middling scores (all hovering around 50) tell you everything you need to know. There are way better ways to spend your evening.

Plot

Frank Penny is a disgraced cop looking for a shot at redemption. When the police chief's 11-year-old daughter is abducted, Frank goes rogue to try and save her. But to find the girl, Frank will need the help of Ava Brooks, whose live-streaming news channel is broadcasting Frank's every move.
