Skip it—this is melodramatic dad-cancer-redemption territory that mistakes earnestness for depth, and the premise of a dying man "fixing" his troubled kid through forced bonding feels more manipulative than moving. Unless you're in the mood for emotional heavy-handedness without the payoff, your time is better spent elsewhere.

Plot

When a man is diagnosed with terminal cancer, he takes custody of his misanthropic teenage son, for whom quality time means getting high, engaging in small-time prostitution, and avoiding his father.
