Leatherface

2017 · 1h 28m · Horror, Thriller

IMDb 5.0 Metacritic 40 RT 28%

Skip this one. The critics universally panned Leatherface, and the scores tell you everything you need to know—it's a sloppy, poorly executed prequel that fails to justify its own existence. Even if you're a die-hard Texas Chain Saw Massacre fan, there are better horror films to spend your evening on.

Plot

A young nurse is kidnapped by a group of violent teens who escape from a mental hospital and take her on the road trip from hell. Pursued by an equally deranged lawman out for revenge, one of the teens is destined for tragedy and horrors that will destroy his mind, moulding him into a monster named Leatherface.

Director: Julien Maury

Cast: Stephen Dorff, Vanessa Grasse, Sam Strike, Lili Taylor, James Bloor
