Last Survivors

2021 · 1h 38m · Thriller

Skip it. 'Last Survivors' has the bones of an interesting premise—paranoia and isolation breeding conflict—but the execution feels like a made-for-streaming thriller that plays it safe instead of going somewhere bold. Without critical validation or a standout cast to elevate it, there are better ways to spend your evening.

Plot

The pic is set in the aftermath of an apocalyptic event that forces people into extreme isolation. A father and son, who have been living off grid for 20 years, encounter an outsider who threatens to destroy the utopia they’ve built.

Director: Drew Mylrea

Cast: Drew Van Acker, Alicia Silverstone, Stephen Moyer, Benjamin Arthur, Mark Famiglietti
