La Passion selon saint Jean
2024 · 1h 57m
If you're a Bach devotee or classical music lover, this is a no-brainer—a pristine recording of the St. John Passion in one of Europe's most magnificent settings with elite period performers is exactly the kind of transcendent experience worth your evening. But if orchestral baroque isn't your thing, this won't convert you, so skip it.
Plot
J. S. Bach's Johannespassion performed in the Royal Chapel of the Château de Versailles in April 2024 by period forces including the Orchestre de l’Opéra Royal directed by Gaétan Jarry and the Tölzer Knabenchor.
