Skip it. Kraven is a middling Spider-Man spinoff that nobody asked for, and the plot—yet another origin story about a brooding guy with daddy issues becoming a vigilante—treads exhausted ground. Without critical validation and loaded with the baggage of Sony's struggling villain universe, there's no reason to spend your night here when better action films are a click away.

Plot

Kraven Kravinoff's complex relationship with his ruthless gangster father, Nikolai, starts him down a path of vengeance with brutal consequences, motivating him to become not only the greatest hunter in the world, but also one of its most feared.
