Skip it. While the original Kickboxer has its cult appeal, this sequel retreads familiar revenge-plot territory with a villain seeking a rematch—a tired setup even by late-'80s action standards. Unless you're a completist for Van Damme's early filmography, there are better action flicks to spend your evening on.

Plot

In this rousing sequel to Kickboxer, Tong Po broods about his defeat at the hands of Kurt Sloan. Po and his managers resort to drastic measures to goad Kurt's brother into the ring for a rematch.
