Skip it. This ambitious Cold War thriller has an intriguing premise—a Soviet orphan spy questioning his loyalty in London—but it's bogged down by heavy-handed storytelling and a glacial pace that suffocates the drama. Even if you're craving geopolitical intrigue, there are far better spy films out there that won't test your patience.
Plot
A teenage orphan fights against the Red Army at the end of WWII and in the aftermath is 'adopted' by a Commissar. Years later he is sent to London during the Cold war to work for the KGB, where he questions his life.
