I'll Follow You Down

2013 · 1h 33m · Science Fiction, Drama, Mystery

Skip this one – the premise of a scientist's mysterious disappearance and strange discovery has potential, but this 2014 indie sci-fi drama never quite lands the emotional or conceptual punch it's reaching for, and it's largely been forgotten for good reason.

Plot

After the disappearance of a young scientist on a business trip, his son and wife struggle to cope, only to make a bizarre discovery years later – one that may bring him home.

Director: Richie Mehta

Cast: Gillian Anderson, Haley Joel Osment, Rufus Sewell, Victor Garber, Susanna Fournier
