Hunting for Englishmen
2006 · History
IMDb
5.3
Unless you're a die-hard fan of obscure Eastern European period dramas, skip this one—a 5.3 IMDb score is a red flag that even the niche appeal isn't landing. The premise of discontented nobles and railway intrigue could work, but the execution clearly doesn't justify your 90+ minutes tonight.
Plot
1839. The discontented noblemen assemble at the country estate of count Gábor Falussy, on the pretext of a boar hunt. Also an English engineer arrives for the sake of constructing the railway line leading up to the count’s quarry.
