Skip it—this true-crime mystery about Superman actor George Reeves' death has an intriguing premise but gets bogged down in melodrama and never quite justifies its convoluted plot. Ben Affleck and Adrien Brody do solid work, but the film feels like it's reaching for prestige it doesn't quite earn.
