Skip it. This 2024 reboot landed with a thud, ditching the charm of del Toro's films for a generic creature-feature slog through Appalachian Gothic that wastes its intriguing premise. Without the wit, visual flair, or charisma that made Hellboy worth watching, there's no reason to give this one your night.

Plot

Hellboy and a rookie BPRD agent get stranded in 1950s rural Appalachia. There, they discover a small community haunted by witches, led by a local devil with a troubling connection to Hellboy's past: the Crooked Man.
