2025 · Drama, Documentary, Music

Skip it tonight—this sounds like a well-intentioned indie drama that relies too heavily on the 'muse heals broken heart' trope, and without any critical validation or standout cast, there's no reason to gamble two hours on what could easily be overwrought emotional wallowing. If you're craving something with grit and genuine insight into artistic struggle, find something with proven buzz instead.

Plot

Leaving behind the familiarity of Monterrey, a young performer arrives in Mexico City chasing a dream of life on stage. But the city's beauty soon gives way to isolation and doubt, the echoes of a failed relationship following him wherever he goes. Just as he feels most lost, fate intervenes—an unexpected encounter with a muse disguised as a mariachi singer changes him forever.
