Skip it. This 2013 dark fantasy is a campy, hollow action flick that mistakes gore and CGI spectacle for substance—Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton deserve better material than this derivative mess. If you want gothic horror-action done right, literally any other option tonight will be time better spent.

Plot

After getting a taste for blood as children, Hansel and Gretel have become the ultimate vigilantes, hell-bent on retribution. Now, unbeknownst to them, Hansel and Gretel have become the hunted, and must face an evil far greater than witches... their past.
