Hands of a Stranger

1962 · 1h 25m · Horror, Thriller

Skip it—this 1961 body horror premise has potential, but the execution is dated and the film lacks the psychological punch or visual flair that would make it essential viewing. You'd be better off with a more polished thriller that actually delivers on the creepy concept.

Plot

A concert pianist loses his hands in a car crash, but a surgeon gives him new ones. The experimental medical procedure goes awry when the new hands drive the pianist mad.

Director: Newt Arnold

Cast: Paul Lukather, Joan Harvey, James Noah, Irish McCalla, Barry Gordon
