Skip it unless you're a completist horror fan — this sequel trades the atmospheric dread of the originals for a formulaic retread that doesn't justify its existence a decade later. Michael Myers hunting a child is more contrived than terrifying, and by part four, the franchise had already started circling the drain.

Plot

Ten years after his original massacre, the invalid Michael Myers awakens on Halloween Eve and returns to Haddonfield to kill his seven-year-old niece.
