Skip it—this is a forgettable DC animated anthology that plays it safe with origin stories when you could watch literally any live-action superhero flick with actual stakes and charisma. Even for animation fans, there are far better options in the DC catalog tonight.

Plot

As the home planet of the Green Lantern Corps faces a battle with an ancient enemy, Hal Jordan prepares new recruit Arisia for the coming conflict by relating stories of the first Green Lantern and several of Hal's comrades.
