✗ SKIP — Not worth it
Goldberg Variations
1991 · 1h 18m · Drama
Skip this tonight unless you're in the headspace for profoundly heavy, experimental grief cinema — this is a deliberately fragmented, bleak exploration of parental loss that offers catharsis for few and devastation for most. If you want challenging drama, seek it out eventually, but not as casual evening viewing.
Plot
This is a rough, fragmented drama about a couple whose 13-year-old son committed suicide without an apparent reason. The film portrays the day after the funeral and the helpless, abandoned mourning of the parents.
