Watch it tonight if you're in the mood for slow-burn, atmospheric storytelling that prizes visual poetry over plot convenience. This is a contemplative journey into obsession and moral ambiguity set against Iceland's brutal beauty—not a crowd-pleaser, but exactly the kind of thoughtful, character-driven drama that sticks with you.

Plot

In the late 19th century, a young Danish priest travels to a remote part of Iceland to build a church and photograph its people. But the deeper he goes into the unforgiving landscape, the more he strays from his purpose, the mission and morality.
