GOAT is a perfectly serviceable animated underdog story with a fun premise (roarball is a delightfully absurd concept), but it hits every predictable sports-movie beat without breaking new ground. If you've got kids who love animal characters and inspirational sports narratives, it's harmless family fun—but adults watching solo should probably find something with more bite.

Plot

A small goat with big dreams gets a once-in-a-lifetime shot to join the pros and play roarball, a high-intensity, co-ed, full-contact sport dominated by the fastest, fiercest animals in the world.
