Gjakova 726
2009 · 0h 32m · Drama, Family
If you're looking for an intimate, unflinching portrait of childhood during wartime and can handle heavy emotional material, this is worth your time—it's the kind of character-driven drama that stays with you. Skip it if you need levity or aren't in the mood for something sobering, but don't dismiss it just because it lacks buzz; personal stories about conflict zones often carry more truth than award-season darlings.
Plot
Set during 1980-1999 events in Gjakova, the most war torn town from the last war in Kosovo, the film is a drama told by Vigani, a 12 year old boy from Gjakova, who's voice over describes his and his family's life during these years.
Director: Blerta Basholli
