Skip it. G.I. Joe: Retaliation is a forgettable CGI spectacle that mistakes explosions for plot and leans too hard on nostalgia without delivering anything fresh—the convoluted government conspiracy angle just slows down an already bloated action flick that doesn't know what it wants to be.

Plot

Framed for crimes against the country, the G.I. Joe team is terminated by Presidential order. This forces the G.I. Joes into not only fighting their mortal enemy Cobra; they are forced to contend with threats from within the government that jeopardize their very existence.
