Skip it—this 1942 Raoul Walsh boxing drama is a bit of a relic, all bombastic charm and dated sentiment that doesn't hold up to modern storytelling standards. Even Errol Flynn's charisma and the novelty of Corbett's footwork innovations can't overcome the sluggish pacing and hollow character work.

Plot

As bare-knuckled boxing enters the modern era, brash extrovert Jim Corbett uses new rules and dazzlingly innovative footwork to rise to the top of the boxing world.
