Skip this one. Fred Claus is a bloated, forgettable holiday comedy that couldn't find laughs even with Vince Vaughn and Reacher-era Kevin James on deck—the critics and audiences agree it's a slog. Unless you're desperately mining for bad Christmas movies at 11 PM, your time is better spent literally anywhere else.

Plot

Fred Claus and Santa Claus have been estranged brothers for many years. Now Fred must reconcile his differences with his brother whom he believes overshadows him. When an efficiency expert assesses the workings at the North Pole and threatens to shut Santa down, Fred must help his brother to save Christmas.
