Skip it tonight unless you're specifically craving low-stakes fantasy rom-com comfort food. The premise is charming enough—assassin-turned-son-in-law hijinks with martial arts flair—but without any critical validation and the generic "accidentally wholesome" plot, you're gambling on a film that could just as easily be forgettable filler as it is hidden gem.

Plot

The Dragon Prince of the Demon Realm was ordered to assassinate Li Yue'e, a demon-catching master with unrivaled martial arts skills. By some chance, he became Li Yue'e's son-in-law. From then on, the assassination mission became confusing and full of jokes.
