Skip it. While the Flamin' Hot Cheetos origin story has genuine charm and Jesse Plemons is always solid, this feels like a made-for-streaming inspiration-by-numbers drama that prioritizes a feel-good narrative over substance. You'll get the same uplift from a dozen other underdog biopics, and probably with more nuance.
Plot
The inspiring true story of Richard Montañez, the Frito Lay janitor who channeled his Mexican American heritage and upbringing to turn the iconic Flamin' Hot Cheetos into a snack that disrupted the food industry and became a global pop culture phenomenon.
