Skip it. This 1992 thriller rides on the charisma of its stars (Richard Gere and Kim Basinger) but gets tangled up in a creaky plot about psychiatrist ethics violations and gangster melodrama that feels dated and contrived. Unless you're specifically hunting '90s erotic thriller nostalgia, your night's better spent elsewhere.

Plot

A psychiatrist becomes romantically involved with the sister of one of his patients, but the influence of her controlling gangster husband threatens to destroy them both.
