Skip it. This is a niche Soviet sports biopic with no critical consensus to back up its premise, and 'fatal events derailed his career' is vague enough to suggest the script might be as unfocused as the plot description. Unless you're specifically hunting for obscure Eastern European wrestling documentaries, your night is better spent elsewhere.

Plot

Based on real events. This is a picture about Vyacheslav Karpov, who was a great athlete, the first champion of the USSR from Yakutia, a student of the world-famous freestyle wrestling coach Dmitry Petrovich Korkin. An exciting life story of a talented person who, after taking off in a sports career, could not maintain his status due to fatal events.
