The critics absolutely hammered this one, and for good reason—the premise is genuinely compelling, but the execution apparently falls flat. Unless you're a die-hard fan of Ryan Gosling or deeply invested in father-daughter melodrama, skip it tonight and find something that actually delivers on its emotional potential.
