Skip it tonight—'Fallen' is a 1998 supernatural thriller that relies too heavily on its twist ending and hasn't aged particularly well, with a convoluted plot that tries too hard to blend crime drama with demonic possession. Unless you're a completionist for '90s thrillers or a devoted Denzel Washington fan, your time is better spent elsewhere.

Plot

Homicide detective John Hobbes witnesses the execution of serial killer Edgar Reese. Soon after the execution the killings start again, and they are very similar to Reese's style.
