Skip it unless you're a dedicated fan of Chinese fantasy lore—this anthology spinoff of the White Snake legend sounds fragmented and confusing, with no scores to justify taking a chance on a film that needs either critical validation or a crystal-clear hook to earn your time.
Plot
The film revolves around Princess Longji, Xiaoqing, Fahai, Nine-tailed Fox, and Black Mountain Demon. It is connected by five independent unit stories, which not only continues the worldview of the lege nd of the White Snake, but also supplements the experience and emotional entanglement of the original character.
