Skip it unless you're specifically hunting for transgressive indie horror—this is a deliberately provocative, graphic descent into one teenager's disturbing psyche that prioritizes shock value over substance. It's got cult appeal and genuine boldness, but it's punishing to watch and not the kind of film that rewards a casual Tuesday night viewing.

Plot

Pauline, a disturbed, outcast teenager, has a fascination with surgery and experiences violent, psychosexual fantasies, all while aspiring to a career in medicine.

Director: Richard Bates Jr.

Cast: AnnaLynne McCord, Traci Lords, Ariel Winter, Roger Bart, Jeremy Sumpter
