Skip it. This is a third-tier action sequel that's trading on a fading franchise and familiar hostage-rescue tropes—all the explosions and one-liners can't mask the lack of originality. Unless you're a die-hard Sylvester Stallone completist or desperate for brainless action filler, your time is better spent elsewhere.

Plot

After security expert Ray Breslin is hired to rescue the kidnapped daughter of a Hong Kong tech mogul from a formidable Latvian prison, Breslin's girlfriend is also captured. Now he and his team must pull off a deadly rescue mission to confront their sadistic foe and save the hostages before time runs out.
